This unique and effective training program is designed for those interested in becoming Yoga Therapy teachers as well as for already practicing yoga teachers interested in the therapeutic and Ayurvedic approaches to Yoga as a healing art and science and complimentary medicine for most common physical and mental dis-harmonies affecting people around the world.
After successful completion of this course, students will receive Yoga Alliance recognised 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Certificates and 30hr Holistic Studies Certificates (Yoga Alliance continuing education). This course is a harmonious blend of two ancient systems of health - Yoga and Ayuveda.
Our program is unique and different from other Yoga Teacher Trainings. Teachers will be trained to design personalised custom yoga programs for their existing and future clients according to their clients’ age, mental profile, lifestyle and work, physical ailments and limitations, traumas, stress related illnesses and their Ayurvedic Doshas. For example, programs for elderly people, pregnant women, corporate workers suffering from “burnout” etc.
Training is done in an Ayurvedic center PDI (Prakash Deep Institute of Ayurveda) in a friendly andcozy atmosphere of a small group in order to dedicate more time to each student. Students will have a unique opportunity to learn from a senior yoga teacher, a yoga therapist, and a natural medicine practitioner from the US Antonina Ramsey and Indian doctors of Ayurveda Vivek Mohindra and Latika Verma.
In addition, students will receive a thorough foundation in Ayurveda with hands-on experience in Ayurvedic Health Management using simple methods of food preparation, detox, and simple herbal preparations. Students will be able to use this knowledge as a stepping stone for a more advance course on Ayurveda at PDI or elsewhere. Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda studies will be linked to the latest findings in modern science such as neuroscience, bio chemistry, and psychology.
Participants will enjoy true Ayurvedic food, two free welcome Ayurvedic relaxation treatments abyanga and shirodhara*), several sightseeing trips to the River Gangi, Rishikeshi etc. and an opportunity to experience true Panchakarma Ayurvedic detox or a more advance course on Ayurveda at a special student price**.
